Remote Learning INFORMATION
Moving to remote learning
During any School closure, pupils of Shield Row Primary School may be moved to a remote learning programme to ensure all children continue to receive a progressive, and challenging curriculum at home.
For details of the full offer, see our policy below.
Our main platform for remote learning is Seesaw. All children from nursery to Year 6 have a log in. If you need your login re-sending, please contact school and we will be happy to help.
Teachers will upload pre-recorded teaching clips, teaching slides, audio explanations, worksheets, activities, challenges and links to other websites to support children's learning. The times on the daily schedules are just guidance - you can spend less or more time on each activity (depending what your child needs) and you can do the activities in any order. It is vital that each day's learning is carried out, as lessons are progressive and each day builds on the day before.
Teachers and Teaching Assistants monitor Seesaw throughout the day. Feedback will be offered to the children for work they upload to their portfolio.
